Avery had her very first trip to a museum. We met the Kennedy's at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham. Grant and Parker are on spring break and we had fun playing with them on this beautiful day. Avery enjoyed her afternoon very much and we know that there are many more visits in our future. We will probably go again when she starts walking.
We started outside and played with the drums and bells. Avery loved the fun noises. Grant and Parker were experts, as they go to the Museum of Life and Science a lot. Then we went to play with water before heading on to the farm animals. Avery loved looking at all the animals. She even got to pet Max, the cow.
After seeing all the animals we went along the dinosaur path, where Grant dug for fossils. Avery and Parker enjoyed some snacks before we headed inside, where we had fun building with blocks.
These pictures of Parker feeding Avery are so cute! Once Avery is steady on her feet, I know they are going to be trouble together!
Avery loved playing with the blocks.
We saw some snakes, Grant's favorite part, as well as some turtles, birds, an opossum, and fish. We finished in the kiddie play area and it was perfect for Avery. She had a blast crawling all over the place and stopping to play with different toys. It was so cute to see her crawl through the tunnel and go down the slide.
