Beach Baby

We enjoyed a week at the beach, and a certain little girl love it.  Avery's Aunt Taylor got married Saturday and now Avery has an Uncle Andrew (more of that to come in another post).  We are so happy to have him as part of our family.  We were also glad to enjoy some time at the beach with family and friends.  This wasn't Avery's first time at the beach, but it was the first time she could enjoy the sand and water.  It was nice to get some relaxation and fun times in addition to the wedding festivities.  Avery and mommy arrived at the beach early Monday.  We met up with Gigi, Papa and Mawmaw.  Daddy came down later in the week to join in on the good times.
Avery loved the beach and was so glad to enjoy it with her grandparents.
This little pool pops up and will be very useful in future beach trips when the water is warmer.
Aside from some sand, Avery enjoyed yummy snacks on the beach!

This was not her first time in a pool, but she was finally big enough to utilize and enjoy her floaty.  She had so much fun in the pool.  We are pumped for warmer weather and the pool to open in the next month.

Avery was so excited that Aunt Taylor was off work on Tuesday and could join us at the beach and pool.  She had a blast playing with her toys.  Avery loved the water of both the ocean and the pool.  She even tried to eat some seashells for a snack.
Avery and Aunt Tay Tay on the water after lunch.
The beach toys she got from Grammy and Pepaw for Easter were a huge hit.

"Aunt Tay Tay get off the phone and play with me"
This could be a favorite photo and will probably end up in a frame.  We love instagram!

Wednesday morning, Avery took her morning nap in the stroller.  We got lots of exercise and enjoyed the beautiful ocean and fresh air.  It was nice to have some time to just relax and enjoy the week.
Wednesday evening, the McCall side of the family got into town.  Avery had fun with Camilla.  They were so cute pushing the toy together.  This was just the beginning of Avery looking up to her older cousin.
Camilla recently became a big sister to Rex, and we were so glad that they were able to make the trip to the beach.  It was wonderful meeting him and spending time together will the Stillings.
Thursday was chilly.  We weren't able to don our swimsuits but that didn't keep us from having fun on the beach.
After a beautiful bridal shower on Friday morning, we were able to squeeze in some fun at the beach and pool before heading to Aunt Taylor's rehearsal and dinner party.  Daddy had fun playing with Avery in the ocean and pool.  It was also nice to have another set of hands.  I was very blessed that Gigi and Papa were with me earlier in the week.  They had a blast playing with Avery, and was able to help Aunt Taylor with some wedding things and have some time to relax.

It was a great trip and we look forward to more beach trips in 2012
