Blog Vacation

We are sorry for the lack of posts over the last 2 weeks, but things have been very busy in the King household.  We have been going full speed since the time change.  Avery is on the move and into everything these days.  She loves to be outside and have been enjoying a lot of stroller rides.  Mommy has started spring cleaning and going through every corner of the house.  We still have a lot of work left to do.  Mommy also decide that she is going to paint the dinning room.  The tape is up and the molding is getting a face lift.  Hopefully I can pick a color in the next week.  Trying to decide between navy and a grayish-blue color.  Might wait to pick a rug and drapes before I finalize the wall color.
Avery is infatuated with standing up.  She has mastered crawling and is quickly on her way to walking with support from toys and furniture.  Mommy is NOT ready for this and wishes she could stop time for a bit.  She loves to play and explore her surroundings.
 Double Trouble!

The pollen has been in full force.  Today I washed off the front and back porches because I could not handle anymore of the yucky yellow stuff.  Mommy spent the past weekend in Wrightsville Beach celebrating with Aunt Taylor.  We are very excited for Aunt Taylor and Uncle Andrew to tie the knot.  Avery and daddy made a trip to Wilmington on Saturday.  We are participated in the Zeek Donut Dash.

Mommy has been running 3-4 times a week with Aunt Robyn.  Avery and Sadie love our runs down the greenway.  This was a long day and mommy was exhausted.  One day the rolls will be reversed and Avery's going to be pushing me!

We are all on the mend from a yucky stomach bug.  Grammy, Pepaw, Aunt Robyn, mommy and daddy all got hit by the yucky bug, but sweet Avery has avoided it thus far.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that she does not get it.   We can see 4 top teeth starting to poke through and think that is enough torture for the sweet girl.  She has been a trouper though it all and we are ready for them to break through.
Teething is no fun!

Avery loves to stand these days.  She's constantly trying to climb on everything, even mommy and daddy.  She is quite the character and we are thoroughly enjoying her fun and happy personality.

Sunday we celebrated with Holly and got her ready for Hadley's arrival in early May.  It was great to catch up with friends and spend time with the momma-to-be.  Avery did well at the party and enjoyed some extra attention. We are looking forward to holding her sweet little girl this summer, especially since Avery does not hold still anymore.
I forgot to take pictures at the shower, but look how cute Holly is...

Finally, here are some random pictures from the past week.  It is hard to blog often with a busy baby and such beautiful weather.  I will try to be better able updating it regularly.

Some instagram pictures of Avery enjoying her lunch.  She has become a bit of a picky eater, but we hope it is just a phase.  When she is finished or does not like what you give her, she throws it on the floor for the dog.  Funny to watch and I will try to get the video loaded!

Avery loves her car and swing.  She can't wait to play outside with her Papa and Gigi this weekend.  I have some awesome videos of her in the car that I will try to load later this week.  She puts both hands on the wheel while riding and LOVES to go down the driveway.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
We are painting and doing some serious spring cleaning in our house over the coming weeks!
