We just got home from a wonderful week in Kiawah Island with my family. It was so nice to get away and take a trip before I head back to work in 3 weeks. We started our journey on Saturday morning by heading into Charleston for lunch and some shopping. Then we ventured to Kiawah and checked into the house that evening. We enjoyed many wonderful dinners and even did a little cooking. The beaches on Kiawah are amazing, and we especially had fun going to the Ocean Course (a magnificent golf course along the ocean) on several nights to play on the putting green, beach and enjoy some time on the huge porch of the club house. I apologize for the disorganization of pictures but it was too hard to get them lined up in order and a certain little girl wants my attention.

We took Avery into Charleston twice and then went in for a dinner date another night. Above is a picture of Trey and I on a perfect corner for us in downtown Charleston (Queen and King).

The girls loved playing with their uncles, building castles and jumping waves. They helped the girls find over 20 sand dollars, some starfish and hermit crabs.

Every morning Avery's cousins would come in our room and we all hung out with her on the bed. It was so cute and we all enjoyed making her laugh and smile!
